What is the most challenging part of working in a group? Discuss a time when a group assignment did not go as well as you planned and how you learned from that experience.

 Prompt Response: The most challenging part of working in a group is the amount of work ethic each student puts into the objective. For example, I and three other students are creating a risk-mounted object that utilizes ball bearings, springs, rubber bands, and magnets. This project has taken our group and many others over two weeks. Despite this project being difficult to develop, our team has found ourselves close to finalizing this project. However, among our group lies one student that unfortunately will not put in the same amount of work ethic or research as everyone else. While they will ask questions and try to stay engaged, they ultimately care about the grade rather than the process of obtaining that grade for this project. 


Summary: In today's class, we completed an assignment online to help us create structure of rhetorical analysis essay.

Reflection: Reflecting on this experience, I’ve realized the importance of selecting the right people for our group. And while I fully understand that not everyone is the same, and that not everyone will put in the same amount of effort as someone like me. I simply want effort from everyone.

  Prompt Response:    The most creative thing I've ever made was a pipe cleaner stick man action figure. Growing up, I loved action figures. And there was one particular action figure that I saw online that I greatly desired. It was a metallic blue Mega man action figure with multiple accessories and magnetic feet. However, due to how pricey it was, my parents weren't able to get it for me. Due to this, I took it upon myself to make my own action figure.      Summary: Today in class, we finished writing our own origin myth story and discussed making a poster for it. Reflection: Making something from nothing is what I strive to do; like with that pipe cleaner stick man action figure I made. It represents my creativity and imagination in one small package.

  Prompt Response:  When I was a sophomore in high school, my marketing principles teacher taught me a very a profound lesson: “People treat you the way they perceive you.” This principle resonates deeply with my daily life. I maintain professionalism at school, taking the time to think before speaking and ensuring my words are measured and precise to avoid any miscommunication. As a result, many students and teachers hold me in high regard, valuing me as a peer and a student. This is why I consistently strive to present myself in a professional light. Summary: Today in class, we started working on our argumentative essay with the theme of morality. Reflection: Reflecting on this, I will always make sure that no matter what no one views me as a failure or an incompetent person. I believe that every human should be controlled and measured when it comes to their speech.
