 Prompt Response: As mentioned in a previous prompt, my greatest challenge when creating figurative language was overthinking my ideas. I strive to give my best when I work on my writing because, as my parents have advised me, “you do a ride the first time so you don’t have to do it again.” This saying has stayed with me forever. However, to truly overcome this challenge, I had to take a step back and relax. I realized that sometimes I need to slow down and take things one step at a time.

Reflection: Reflecting on this, I often find myself coming across as a perfectionist. While it may be challenging for me to change this habit, I must do so for the sake of improving my writing skills.
