Write about a time you didn’t feel like yourself.

Prompt Response: About a month ago, I recalled a time when I was incredibly angry and enraged by even the slightest disagreements. My anger was unjustified, and my feelings were equally unjustified. I would resort to punching any object that came to mind just to release my pent-up anger, but it was futile. Deep down, I knew that I shouldn’t be so angry, even in the face of a simple disagreement or a heated argument. That month was a period of profound self-reflection for me.

Summary: In today’s class, we delved into Martin Luther King Jr.’s speech and analyzed its rhetorical devices.

Reflection: Reflecting on this, it’s evident that it’s quite easy for us as individuals to harbor grudges. However, the anger that we feel towards one another can have devastating consequences for both parties involved.
