 Prompt Response: One thing that constantly occupies my thoughts is love. I’m currently 16, and all my acquaintances either have or are currently in significant relationships. While I wouldn’t label myself as desperate or constantly yearning for a relationship, the topic occasionally crosses my mind. As I advance in my studies and become an even more skilled mechanical engineer, my work will become increasingly demanding, and I worry that I won’t have the time for romance or significant relationships. It’s a bit disheartening to contemplate, and sometimes I genuinely feel as if the possibility of being in a relationship is slim. But that’s a topic for another time.

Summary: In today’s class, we completed any unfinished work we had and worked on our blog post.

Reflection: Reflecting on this, I’ve developed a dangerous habit of worrying about things beyond my control. As a mere human, I’m uncertain about the future of my life.

  Prompt Response:    The most creative thing I've ever made was a pipe cleaner stick man action figure. Growing up, I loved action figures. And there was one particular action figure that I saw online that I greatly desired. It was a metallic blue Mega man action figure with multiple accessories and magnetic feet. However, due to how pricey it was, my parents weren't able to get it for me. Due to this, I took it upon myself to make my own action figure.      Summary: Today in class, we finished writing our own origin myth story and discussed making a poster for it. Reflection: Making something from nothing is what I strive to do; like with that pipe cleaner stick man action figure I made. It represents my creativity and imagination in one small package.

  Prompt Response:  When I was a sophomore in high school, my marketing principles teacher taught me a very a profound lesson: “People treat you the way they perceive you.” This principle resonates deeply with my daily life. I maintain professionalism at school, taking the time to think before speaking and ensuring my words are measured and precise to avoid any miscommunication. As a result, many students and teachers hold me in high regard, valuing me as a peer and a student. This is why I consistently strive to present myself in a professional light. Summary: Today in class, we started working on our argumentative essay with the theme of morality. Reflection: Reflecting on this, I will always make sure that no matter what no one views me as a failure or an incompetent person. I believe that every human should be controlled and measured when it comes to their speech.
