Discuss something meaningful or memorable you experienced over the break, or reflect on what you felt most thankful for during that time.

Prompt Response: During my Thanksgiving break, I have been most thankful for my family. My mother, my father, my brother, my god sister, my grandmother, and my grandmother's friend all attended for Thanksgiving. We all had a wonderful time speaking and enjoying each other's company during Thanksgiving. But the icing on this cake of memories was the food. We had ham, turkey wings, pork ribs, pork shoulder, collard greens, candy yams, mac & cheese, cornbread, and a wide variety of sodas and desserts.

Summary: In today’s class, we revisited our latest vocabulary lesson and completed an assignment using the new words we’ve learned.

Reflection: Reflecting on this Thanksgiving, it’s a wonderful time to gather with family and friends. However, what truly makes Thanksgiving memorable is the people and, of course, the food.
