 Prompt Response: Growing up, neither of my parents were particularly strict when it came to discipline. However, they shared a common understanding of how my discipline should be handled. As I matured and became more self-aware, I became the strictest disciplinarian of myself. I convinced myself that I was incompetent and that my performance was inadequate. Eventually, my parents began to express concern that I was being too hard on myself.

Summary: In today's class, we continued reading The Rock Pile and worked on our presentation about the novel.

Reflection: Reflecting on this, I realize that my parents’ discipline was neither superior nor inferior to theirs. However, as I grew older, my discipline surpassed both of theirs.

By managing my time effectively, I can enjoy my day according to my preferences. Summary: Today in class, we finished our argumentative claim on the topic of morality. Reflection: Reflecting on this, I try my very best to manage my time accordingly, that way I can properly enjoy the things I have to do without hassle or wasting time.   Prompt Response:   The Bible is a very significant thing in my life. It is literally the reason for my existence. And while that may seem like a big exaggeration, I have spent years growing closer, and simultaneously moving away from God. But the determination I feel in becoming a faithful steward to him is leading me to become a better person for myself, the people I love, and most importantly, the Lord. And when I see and hear scripture, it fills me with understanding and makes me whole. Summary:   Today in class, we read and discussed a Navajo Creation Myth. Reflection: The Navajo Creation Myth helped me to understand the thought process behind Native American myths. It also helped me to understand its cultural significance and how it impacts the modern world today. Many things would be different if myths weren’t a thing.
