As we think about our upcoming Vocabulary Monday, tell me what is your favorite word RIGHT NOW? Why is it your faovorite word and how often do you use it?

Prompt Response: I would say that my favorite word is intelligence. Intelligence is subjective to many different things. It can apply to many different things, whether that being artificial intelligence, human intelligence, emotional intelligence, and so on. But just because a person cannot sufficiently complete a specific task doesn't make them unintelligent. Society makes our imperfections stick out like a sore thumb. They constantly bring it up and define us by our imperfections. We as humans even do that to ourselves, but as time goes on, you slowly start to realize that the world isn't as intrigued with you as you think it is.

Summary: Today in class, we continued working on our Birches childhood presentation.

Reflection: In short, Intelligence comes in many forms and cannot be measured by a single standard. It also reminded me that our imperfections do not define us, and with time, we learn to care less about how others perceive us.
