Prompt Response: A metaphor I would use to describe my mind would be a beautiful masterpiece. Although even saying that doesn't give my mind justice. We are the most intelligent beings on this planet because of our brilliant minds. Some things in the past that we never thought to be possible became possible through us. Every mind is beyond a beautiful masterpiece.

Reflection: Our minds are breathtaking masterpieces that surpass any depiction due to their brilliance. Our intelligence has unlocked the impossible, and will continue to do so for many years to come.

A homeless man was standing in the middle of the road, but not close enough to the cars to be hit. He approached every car that was near him with his sign in hand, begging for something, though I can’t recall what it was. He soon reached our vehicle and asked my father for something. My father immediately shooed away the man as if he were a stray dog, and the man went on his way. Summary: In today's class, we started a story titled: " The Life You Save May Be Your Own" by Flannery O'Connor. Reflection: Reflecting on that time, I did feel sorry for the homeless man. However, it’s important to remember that everything will eventually return to its rightful place.

  Prompt Response:   Growing up, my parents strictly forbade me from opening the door to any strangers. While this is a common rule in households, my parents took extra precautions to ensure my and their safety. Although some children disobeyed their parents and opened the door to strangers anyway, I never considered doing such a thing. In conclusion, it’s important to respect the rules set by adults, even if we don’t fully understand them at the time. Summary: In today's class, we started and continued a novel called The Rock Pile by James Baldwin. Reflection: Reflecting on this, there are many rules set in place for us by adults. It is important that we follow and respect those rules as they are in place to help us.
