Prompt Response: In elementary school, I was friends with a person named Alex, and we always played soccer together at recess. One day, I got picked to be team captain, and many kids cheered for me. However, Alex felt jealous. Instead of continuing to play soccer with us, Alex ignored me and played with another group. I felt hurt and stopped inviting Alex to play during recess. And our friendship slowly faded, all because of his jealousy.

Summary: Due to today being a block day, there was no Literature class today.

Reflection: Reflecting on this story, jealousy can make us treat our friends and people in general unfairly. Small actions can hurt a relationship in big ways. And it’s better to celebrate each other’s successes than compete against them.

  Prompt Response:    The most creative thing I've ever made was a pipe cleaner stick man action figure. Growing up, I loved action figures. And there was one particular action figure that I saw online that I greatly desired. It was a metallic blue Mega man action figure with multiple accessories and magnetic feet. However, due to how pricey it was, my parents weren't able to get it for me. Due to this, I took it upon myself to make my own action figure.      Summary: Today in class, we finished writing our own origin myth story and discussed making a poster for it. Reflection: Making something from nothing is what I strive to do; like with that pipe cleaner stick man action figure I made. It represents my creativity and imagination in one small package.

  Prompt Response:  When I was a sophomore in high school, my marketing principles teacher taught me a very a profound lesson: “People treat you the way they perceive you.” This principle resonates deeply with my daily life. I maintain professionalism at school, taking the time to think before speaking and ensuring my words are measured and precise to avoid any miscommunication. As a result, many students and teachers hold me in high regard, valuing me as a peer and a student. This is why I consistently strive to present myself in a professional light. Summary: Today in class, we started working on our argumentative essay with the theme of morality. Reflection: Reflecting on this, I will always make sure that no matter what no one views me as a failure or an incompetent person. I believe that every human should be controlled and measured when it comes to their speech.
