Prompt Response: I have adapted to the demands of this literature course over this past week by participating consistently. Coming into class on time. And consistently paying attention in class. One strength that will become more prominent as the course progresses is my reading capabilities. And one weakness that will become more prominent as this course progresses is my writing capabilities.

Summary: During class, we took an origin myth assessment and worked on our group project.

Reflection: Over this past week, we have discussed the origins of literature and how it all started with Native Americans. We discussed the kind of myths they would tell and the logic behind them. Overall, this is a very interesting class, and throughout this course, I look forward to becoming more knowledgeable in literature.

  Prompt Response:    The most creative thing I've ever made was a pipe cleaner stick man action figure. Growing up, I loved action figures. And there was one particular action figure that I saw online that I greatly desired. It was a metallic blue Mega man action figure with multiple accessories and magnetic feet. However, due to how pricey it was, my parents weren't able to get it for me. Due to this, I took it upon myself to make my own action figure.      Summary: Today in class, we finished writing our own origin myth story and discussed making a poster for it. Reflection: Making something from nothing is what I strive to do; like with that pipe cleaner stick man action figure I made. It represents my creativity and imagination in one small package.

  Prompt Response:  When I was a sophomore in high school, my marketing principles teacher taught me a very a profound lesson: “People treat you the way they perceive you.” This principle resonates deeply with my daily life. I maintain professionalism at school, taking the time to think before speaking and ensuring my words are measured and precise to avoid any miscommunication. As a result, many students and teachers hold me in high regard, valuing me as a peer and a student. This is why I consistently strive to present myself in a professional light. Summary: Today in class, we started working on our argumentative essay with the theme of morality. Reflection: Reflecting on this, I will always make sure that no matter what no one views me as a failure or an incompetent person. I believe that every human should be controlled and measured when it comes to their speech.
