 Prompt Response: The thing I enjoyed most about my classmates’ poems was the uniqueness of each of them. While someone did focus on the same themes like dreams or escapism, each poem was very well crafted. Some poems used more images than others, and some poems felt more real than others. I was able to relate to some of the poems my fellow students have read. I may not be able to understand all of them to their degree of understanding, but they were great pieces of work.

Summary: Today we presented our poem posters in class.

Reflection: Simply put, I enjoyed how each poem reflected a unique voice, even when exploring similar themes. Some were more relatable to me than others, but all showed creativity and depth.

  Prompt Response:    The most creative thing I've ever made was a pipe cleaner stick man action figure. Growing up, I loved action figures. And there was one particular action figure that I saw online that I greatly desired. It was a metallic blue Mega man action figure with multiple accessories and magnetic feet. However, due to how pricey it was, my parents weren't able to get it for me. Due to this, I took it upon myself to make my own action figure.      Summary: Today in class, we finished writing our own origin myth story and discussed making a poster for it. Reflection: Making something from nothing is what I strive to do; like with that pipe cleaner stick man action figure I made. It represents my creativity and imagination in one small package.

  Prompt Response:  When I was a sophomore in high school, my marketing principles teacher taught me a very a profound lesson: “People treat you the way they perceive you.” This principle resonates deeply with my daily life. I maintain professionalism at school, taking the time to think before speaking and ensuring my words are measured and precise to avoid any miscommunication. As a result, many students and teachers hold me in high regard, valuing me as a peer and a student. This is why I consistently strive to present myself in a professional light. Summary: Today in class, we started working on our argumentative essay with the theme of morality. Reflection: Reflecting on this, I will always make sure that no matter what no one views me as a failure or an incompetent person. I believe that every human should be controlled and measured when it comes to their speech.
